The Reason Why I choose Blogspot

There are many types of blogging platform around, generally the entire platform are free. The word free means that there are some restrain features which is not available for free account.

Blogger.com is one of the earliest blogging platforms that still exist since it became the Google's family. And it stills the most popular among newbie bloggers because of its free hosting and its user friendly interface.

As a newbie who's trying to make extra income from blog, I have to limit my blog expenses. Hosting expenses is one of the things that I cut for pressing the expenditure. After all the economical counting does the rule.

Beside the free hosting advantage, I also have another reason why I choose Blogspot for my blog platform:

Easy to be set up

I guess everybody can manage to set up a blog in Blogspot. Set it up is easy, even for someone who's had not any experience in the past. Just follow the easy to understand instruction that provided by them. Is like doing 1,2,3 steps then you have your blog.

User friendly interface

Once you have sign up for Blogspot account, and set up a blog, you have recognized the menu for customizing your blog. Thanks for the user friendly interface that it has, you don't have to give extra effort for tweak up your blog. That why most newbie prefer to blog in this platform for start their blogging.

Easy to monetized

As you know, Blogger owned by Google which has a variety of apps, including for monetizing blog (in this case adsense). Google allowed their member to sign in to each of their app by using single account. So once you have Blogspot's blog, you can easily approved by Google if you want to add adsense on your blog. You don't have to add another plug-in for placing the adsense ad on your blog, because Blogspot already has an adsense menu button. Just click the adsense menu, pick its layer that suitable for your blog and that's it, you have a monetized blog.

As my Learning ground

I know that Blogspot has limitation for its plug-in and basic templates. But it isn't making me drop back. Its limitations would be an advantage for me, because it can force me to learning a little bit about language programming such as HTML, java script and Css style sheet. Those language programming are the knowledge that every blogger should have. It help blogger to optimized their blog's template or adding plug-ins that do not provided by Blogspot.

Now, because of its limitation, I have a little bit knowledge about HTML, java script and Css style hierarchy which is useful for future usability.
